18 years ago I had lower back surgery that left me with a drop foot and neuropathy in my left foot. I have also been diagnosed as pre-type 2 diabetic for 30 years. A1-c has always been below 7.0. The pain has gradually gotten worse not only at night but during the day, at times unbearable. I have used Lyrica, Gabepenten, muscle relaxers, hydrocodone, and THC1000MG/CBD1000MG ointment on my foot and Ambien in order to fall asleep. Also take back massages. Here is my question to any fellow Slanters who deal with this affliction. I have heard of spine stimulaters but have not found anybody that has success with them. I have also heard of a THC edible you can take in small amounts that will ease the pain. By the way I have never smoked and have not drank for years. Does anyone have any advice on these two methods or any others that I might consider.
