Let that sink in for a moment. On January 6th, we had an attempted coup against the US. The insurrectionists were eagerly chanting about assassinating elected officials and leaders, including the VP. There was support from inside the White House.

The 1/6 committee is trying to get at what happened, how did it happen, and who was involved.

And Republicans don't want that, and for the first time in its history are publicly censuring sitting members. Both parties have skeletons in their closet, but never has the GOP censured an incumbent until they looked into the most violent action to hit the Capital since 1812. Not after Watergate or Iran Contra or any other scandals did they censure an incumbent. But they are for an attempted coup on the nation.

For anyone who wants to see a strong and vibrant United States, it is no longer defensible to be Republican, or to ever vote for a Republican. Pulling the lever for Moran because you like his ideas or views, is pulling the lever for someone who is aiding and abetting the violent overthrow of the US government.

Anyone who thinks this is hyperbole is as delusional as Collins when she said she thought Trump had learned his lesson. There is no other reading of this. Either you don't care about the US, and only care about Republicans in power - valid position - or you don't understand the connections between the GOP and the coup (or you are voting for a Cheney or Kinzinger type). Those are the only reasons to ever vote for the GOP at this point.
