Seems like it cost about $40-$45 per quarter ounce back in the 80's when I was at KU. What does it cost now? What does it cost in Colorado? I'm curious because one of the big motivations for passing the laws in Colorado was the revenue that it would generate. I'm guessing that legal marijuana will cost more than black market marijuana but since nobody is going to enforce possession anymore in Colorado there's still going to be a substantial amount of criminal activity. Thus unfortunately legalizing it will not keep mexican drug cartels from being involved.
