I was studying the PFF numbers for the Iowa State OL and their front seven.

The DL comes out decent: grades-snaps

DE- Peterson 65.7 (334)
DL- Dom Orange 74.4 (256)
DL- Singleton 69.7 (282)
DE- Ezeogu 64.3 (204)
DE- Onyedim 75.3 (327)

LB- McLaughlin 60.0 (271)
LB- Sadowsky 55.5 (279)
LB Vaughn 53.3 (280)
LB Ellis 59.1 (129)

Something that also caught my attention going through numbers- Tackling grades for the LB

Sadowsky- 67.8
McLaughlin- 69.8
Peterson- 50.7
Ellis- 42.8
Vaughn- 43.1

As the Iowa State defense improved I think a lot has to do with the development of the front. They have come on in recent weeks. But for such a strong defense the secondary carries the PFF scores with the linebackers scoring the lowest. I think the KU RB can match up well with the Iowa State LBs.

There is a reason Iowa State hasn't put up big numbers and it starts up front. Their OL scores are not good.

LT- Neal 39.0 (500)
LG- Hufford 63.1 (501)
C- Bonifas 55.7 (491)
RG- Treiber 57.4 (131)
RT- Miller 47.0 (490)

I'm not sold on Becht as someone who can complete a lot of throws in big volume. They have been balanced but you have to hope the KU DL can do some things against the Iowa State OL. Looking at those tackle grades this is a big game for the KU DE.
