2017 LB prospect Anthony Hines is up to 71 offers...yes 71. That's insane, especially considering he has a year and a half before he signs on the dotted line.
But it made me wonder when does this become too much? I am sure he isn't talking to all 71 schools and there was likely a hierarchy in his offers, with small ones first and big ones later. I am also sure if there is a top notch school out there that wants him and hasn't offered yet, they wouldn't be scared to offer in the future.
But at what point in time does a recruit become overwhelmed? I am sure it depends on the recruit, but that seems like an awful lot of offers for a kid that hasn't even begun his junior year to go over...
