I thought there was a thread on here about this but couldn't find it. Apparently the Big 10 is advancing proposals to make freshmen ineligible in football and basketball. I thought it was pretty crazy. Then ISU's AD says he also supports it so there may be more interest for it than we think.
It appears it would impact basketball much more than football because it would send the one or two and dones to the NBA DL or overseas instead of KU, UK, or Duke. Most freshmen redshirt in football. I just can't see this being a good thing. I'd rather see one year of Wiggins in college than none.
