Biden wants to forgive student debt. That is total BS. Debt is never forgiven. It is merely transferred to others.
so tax payers that never went to college, those who paid their debt, and taxpayers headed to colledge will have to pay it. Students willfully borrowed money and need to assume adult responsibility. There is is no legal or moral reason for the debt to be forgiven. However schools and lenders took advantage of this program. So all 3 should pay the piper. For the lender-they eat the interest-the schools 10-20%, and the students 80-90% with zero interest. Of course the factors could change, but the bottom line is people old enough to vote, buy home, serve in the military, own cars, etc took out loans in excess of what the career would pay.
