Happy he came back or KU would have been in a world of hurt. He seems like a great kid and deserves some good fortune.
The lowest hanging fruit in his game is all of the missed short throws. At least 2 vs OU I thought were due to PI that were not called. The 2 point conversion to Kardell was blatant.
That being said, he missed about 3 or 4 others that were wide open because he rushed it. He made throws on the run when he had ample time to stop and set his feet and make an accurate throw. I really hope the staff is working with him on this. It appears he will have a few more games where we need him to be better- especially in the red zone!
