Was driving westbound today on I-70 through Lawrence. The westbound left hand was closed at mile marker 208.6 because of an accident at the westbound exit ramp at the Turnpike gas/McDonald’s stop in Lawrence.
There’s a big lighted sign on the west side of the property for the gas station and restaurant that’s a good distance off any pavement. It has two poles and car managed to hit at least one of them head on — a really nasty accident. Anybody know what happened? Hope the driver and passengers are OK.
