but there isn't much play on the "off topic" forum. Presently I have one of the last big screen plasma TVs'. It's still has the best picture I have seen on any other of the newer technologies. But my one question is that when I look at the newer sets no matter what size screen or brand the prices vary quite a bit. Just what are some of the differences between a 70" for $400 and $1400? Presently the plasma I have in my man cave TV room is 60" and my ass is about 8ft away from the screen. I think if I go bigger than 70" it would be as if I would be watching a tennis match. It used to be that quality could be determined somewhat by brand name, but today I see brands like Samsung with a variety of pricing for the same size.
