I just got word from Lori Stevens, the mother of five-star big man Stephen Zimmerman, that the 7-foot-0, 241-pound center from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nev., has made the decision to not conduct any in-home visits after the Jordan Brand All-Star game and has asked all coaches to not contact him during this time.
Basically, Zimmerman is having a difficult time reaching a final decision and he wants this time to reflect back on everything and make the best possible decision. I just exchanged a number of text messages with Lori, and she told me Stephen is really struggling right now and thought it would be best to not meet with any of the schools and just kind of shut things down until he's ready to decide.
