There is a noticeable difference with how WVU plays at home and how they play Away, but there is a catch as well. As of today, WVU is 5 - 1 at home and 0 - 3 away. At home they average 37.5 ppg and give up on average 17 ppg. On the road they average 24 ppg and give up on average 48.7 ppg. Those are some pretty significant differences.
The catch here is there away games have been OU, Baylor, and TCU. Their hardest home games have been Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
Thus it is hard to truly say there is a big difference. Being that this is an 11 AM game, this is something I am very curious about with regards to how WVU starts the game? Are they sluggish or was the previous away games solely a factor of them playing really good teams?
