Looking over some of the WVU offensive numbers, something that jumps out to me right away is the difference in rankings with their scoring offense and total offense. You don't expect those rankings to be exactly the same, but you expect them to be close. With WVU, they are currently ranked 18th in total offense, but only 52nd in scoring offense.

So looking at how they do in the redzone, it tells us some of the story. They are good at getting into the red zone, averaging 5 trips to the redzone per game, good for 12th nationally. They are also a pretty solid team scoring in the red zone, scoring around 89% of the time they are in the redzone (good for 39th in the nation).

However, they are not particularly good at scoring TDs when they get in the redzone. Only around 54% of their trips to the redzone end up in TDs, ranked 103rd in this area. They settle for FGs a lot of the time when they get down into that area.

WVU has a well-balanced offense and they get some yards, so it will be key to have that bend but don't break mentality this game.
