Never moved Clark to LT
Stephon Robinson is healthy
MacVittie doesn't get hurt week 1
Pooka doesn't opt out
Clark at LT made our line was so bad that we pretty much instantly gave up and started playing for the future ie Daniels, which also lead to some opt-outs.
Bostick, Clark, Mane, Hughes, Lopeti would have been fine, and eventually Cabeldue could come in and Lopeti and would move to whoever was out on the inside.
MacVittie played well against Coastal Carolina. They are obviously a very good team, and we were in that game even after have the most KU Football start to the game.
Parchment gets all the praise, but Robinson was the most clutch playmaker last year (outside of Pooka). Missing him has been ginormous.
Pooka Magic.
Our defense has been not great but not terrible. If our offense could stay on the field that would change a lot of games.
I could easily also add that Frazier doesn't quit, but that is what it is and I'm not even sure how big of a deal that would have been if we just didn't try and move Clark there.
You could argue that going that route would take away experience from some guys, but it could also make KU more attractive in recruiting rather than seeing we lost by 40 points again.
