Similar to the QB thread, although this may be a little bit more realistic, assume these are the only two options you can choose from (recognizing there are more than these two possibilities, just choose one of the two):
Option 1 - senior Taylor Cox leads the team in rushing
Option 2 - freshman Taylor Martin leads the team in rushing
Similar to the QB thread, pitting a senior versus a freshman. With Cox, I think you could argue he physically is ready to take the running load more than Martin and he deserves to have some success after all he has been through the past few years. With Martin, I think there is a lot of value in having a true freshman lead the team in rushing as it could be viewed as us having stability at a spot for the next few years, which would be helpful in rebuilding other areas of the team.
Unlike yesterday, I would go with Option 1. I go with a little bit of sympathy here. Now I didn't go with that option yesterday because I thought it would be better for the team long term, but go with it here because in this offense I think the RBs are at a stage of being a little bit more plug and play than the QB spot is. Cox has been through so much (granted Cummings has as well), I hope the guy can have a solid year...
