The obvious answer to me is offense, but after doing some more thinking I am going with defense. With the new offensive style I am expecting the offense to improve quite a bit in terms of total yards per game. Thus if I am expecting the offense to improve quite a bit, if the defense improves more than the offense then we are sitting in good shape and have a chance to surprise some people...
