If Perry makes the layup? I don't remember very many game winners but it would be very high in my opinion.
I know a lot of people bash the guys for having little bball IQ, which a lot of the times I wonder about too, but that was a perfect heads up play.
WV was busy jackassing around celebrating, Perry glances up and sees 3.9 on the clock and Jamari throws a freaking stike. When it left his hand, I thought he overthrew him a mile.
I honestly wonder if Perry thought the clock was ticking the whole time so he panicked and flipped it up instead of gathering himself, taking a dribble and dunking it. I panicked and I was sitting in a recliner. And why didn't Selden cram it back? Just too much going on in that 3.9 seconds.
Regardless of what people say, that wasn't an easy shot to finish....catching a ball over a shorter player, on the fly, then having the shorter player cut under and swipe at the ball. He jumped early and made it a long jump instead of a high jump.
If he made it tho, man I'd still be smiling and be so happy for Perry. The man gets way too much grief for the caliber of a player that he is.....
