Nonsense I got the remedy to shut them up. I was recently talkig to a neighbor (MIZZOU FAN) his son is the punter for the tig(g)ers (they are pussycats so I dont refer to them as tigers) so I give him a pass slightly! He started in on this WSU is better than KU nonsense and how he hopes the legistlation goes thru that mandates WSU and KU have to play eachother yearly! His reasoning is so WSU can put the smug KU fans in our place LOL!!!
Frankly what he was saying is the dumbest shit I ever heard and he pissed me off. After a couple minutes of debate (me belittling his baby tiggers) for being the worst college BB team in the country this year regardless of division. I offered a few simple questions for the idiot and it shut him up real quick
I said let's say in the next two years the law goes thru and the games are forced:
a) what happens if Marchall uses WSU as a stepping stone and takes a higher profile job soon? (likely)
b) what happens when VV, cotton and baker along with Carter are all are gone in two years? (definitely)
c) how good is their team with Marshall, VV, cotton, Carter, and baker ALL gone?
d) Do they really think another coach will come in and their program isnt going to fall back at least some (if not significantly)
e) how are they going to feel when the guy spear heading this crap brings it to a reality and bolts leaving them to have to face KU yearly?
f) will the shocker fans have the stomache to continue the series when they are once again average and KU is in their arena beating them by 20 and by 35 in allen every year?
The moron had nothing to say about that! I told him the reality is if this crap law they want so bad ever happens they WILL be sorry and they arent thinking things thru! KU will continue to get NBA talent and some of the best players in the country every year. Its only a matter of time before WSU loses their veteran talent and their coach (happening soon) before they are again average at best. When those two inevitable things happen they better pray a series isnt already renewed because they will be stuck getting their asses kicked by KU yearly(like before) and have no recourse to back out.
