Have you found yourself rooting for a particular guy to exceed expectations this upcoming season?
For me, it has been Montell Cozart. Now my gut tells me Carter Stanley will be the man, but at the same time I am hoping Cozart steps up this year for a couple of reasons. One big reason is I feel the kid gets bagged on too much by fans, in particular for the Iowa State "deer in the headlights" game - I know he looked scared/overwhelmed/etc, but he was a 180 lbs 18 year old playing on a sheet of ice with not traction running an offense that hadn't been run all year and he never ran in HS...very few would have done well if they were in his shoes that game. The other big reason is I think this next season depends a lot on the QB, so it would really help if he steps up and plays solid. The final reason is that I think it would help recruiting (specifically local) a ton if we see the beginning of a turn around the next two seasons being led by a KC kid.
