My son is 16 years old and loves his football. He is in his high schools off season lifting program right now and yesterday they maxed out on bench, squats and dead lift. He benched 250, squatted 430 and his dead lift was 255. Are these good lifts for a 16 year old or does he have a lot of work to do as far as strength and playing football at the next level? I know that he has to have skill on the field as well, but I am just talking strength at this point. He does play O line for his team and it seems that he is probably in the top 5 as far as strength in his school. Just asking for some feedback.
