We are all disappointed>

Jalon's poor play has cost KU the last two ballgames. Both INTs right before half completely swung the momentum of the both games. Tonight we would have gone into the locker room up either 20-6 or 24-6 and UNLV would have been already thinking about the plane ride home and next ballgame. One dumb throw later, they are driving in to score to cut lead to 17-14 at half. With the 2023 Jason Bean, we are 3-0 and have won last two games by 10 points. With Cole Ballard, we are likely 3-0. I think we might even be 3-0 with Isiah Marshall. We have not needed great QB play the last two weeks. We just needed average play and we have gotten awful play.

That being said I think we have to be patient and let JD#6 play his way out of the slump. He has earned that right by playing at a very high level in the past. When he has the A game, JD is capable of carrying the entire team. Look no further than the UT win in Austin three years ago. Or the record setting bowl performance against Arkansas.

We still have a very good team this year. Daniel's improvement is the key to getting to 7-8 wins which now seems the realistic maximum. And getting the KSU monkey of our backs!
