What a dumb statement that is, and it is heard time and again by politicians. True we can grow the economy. The problem is that congress cannot and really never could budget money. The more tax revenue that gets sent to Washington only leads to servicing the existing debt and increasing increasing it. Then they blame it on the private sector. We can gum to issues to death, but not holding those in Washington accountable only enables them. It really all started with idea of income tax. They get their money first and we get what is left over.
