While I am concerned about the OL this upcoming season and possibly into next season, I am also really really excited about the potential of the group we have. when you start looking at projected depth charts, to me anyways, it starts to look like what you want it to look like. Now things will change, of which one thing with a lot of the young guys is they could really project to multiple spots (for example, Clark/Hughes/Adeniji could all be tackles or guards IMO). But think we could be looking at something like this (assuming nobody leaves, all freshman redshirt, and starters remain starters until they graduate)...

Current Roster
SR: D'Andre Banks, JSS, Will Smith
JR: Joe Gibson, Jayson Rhodes, Kyle Pullia
SO: Jacob Bragg, Clyde McCauley, Larry Hughes
RS FR: Mesa Ribordy, Hunter Saulsbury, Aaron Garza, Jackson Jenkins, Beau Lawrence
FR: Cam Durley, Chris Hughes, Antione Frazier, Hunter Harris, Malik Clark, Lucas Jacobs, Hakeem Adeniji

JK mentioned this as a possible OL depth chart a month or so ago, so going to use this is a reference point

Possible 2016 Depth Chart
LT: Clyde McCauley (SO), JSS (SR)
LG: Jayson Rhodes (JR), Will Smith (SR)
C: Joe Gibson (JR), Mesa Ribordy (FR)
RG: Jacob Bragg (SO), Hunter Saulsbury (FR)
RT: D'Andre Banks (SR), Larry Hughes (SO)

Possible 2017 Depth Chart
LT: Clyde McCauley (JR), Malik Clark (FR)
LG: Jayson Rhodes (SR), Chris Hughes (FR)
C: Joe Gibson (SR), Mesa Ribordy (SO)
RG: Jacob Bragg (JR), Hunter Saulsbury (SO)
RT: Larry Hughes (JR), Cam Durley (FR)

Possible 2018 Depth Chart
LT: Clyde McCauley (SR), Malik Clark (SO)
LG: Chris Hughes (SO), Aaron Garza (JR)
C: Mesa Ribordy (JR), Hunter Harris (SO)
RG: Jacob Bragg (SR), Hunter Saulsbury (JR)
RT: Larry Hughes (SR), Cam Durley (SO)

Again a lot can change, but this kind of gives you an idea on how things will progress the next couple of years. By 2018, I look at that OL and get excited - a lot of veteran guys with all of the backups being in the system for 3+ years by season's end. So if a younger guy beats them out, he must be pretty good. And then you don't see guys like Frazier and Adeniji in that group - that's not a bad thing. I think both guys have a bunch of talent, but if they aren't making the two deep as RS SO then that means we actually have some depth.

Still think we have to be a little bit patient, but man...we are getting close...
