Had an excellent fall camp. They mentioned Kenny Logan in the crowd and Leipold said that he has embraced this being his last fall camp.

Leipold said when it comes to getting some preseason pub and positive things being said about the program and expectations he said they have earned it.

For the first time in 20 years every position coach is returning. They went from the most players leaving their program to the fewest. Mentioned that comes down to culture.

Feels good about the running backs but keeping them healthy is going to be important. Also said there are guys in the running back group that can help with special teams.

At quarterback to have two guys with that experience and talent is big. Jason Bean has put together two back-to-back August outstanding training camps. Cole Ballard has been impressive for a first year player.

Said the productivity of the offense starts up front. There is good experience and the players have an ability to mix and match. There are some guys that give them depth that they didn't have a year ago.

There is a lot of depth at wide receiver and tight end and they can use a lot of different formations and players. With so many experienced players back it gives them the ability to add more formations and add to the playbook.

Said Locklin is so versatile and they can do different things with because he can be in the backfield or in the slot. Trevor Wilson had a nice camp and got mentioned. Kubecka is going to see time early on special teams.

Devin Neal said he wanted to stay consistent in his weight and is around 215 lb. Only the 13th player to ever rush for a thousand yards in a season for KU.

Neal credit the offensive line for helping with his success. Said there is a lot of depth in the running back room and he's excited to see what they can all do.

Said the goal is to be one of the best offenses in the country. Neal said the players all got input on designing a play and he said they are using some of what they put in and suggested.

Said Devin Phillips he's really excited about him. At defensive end they are going to rotate some bodies.

Rich Miller has been consistent at linebacker and said Taiwan Berryhill was slowed in camp. JB Brown has looked good in Cornell Wheeler has turned it up.
