UPDATE Dec. 3 @ 1:29 p.m.
Clint Bowen was at Coffeyville Coummunity College today and met with Toyous Avery. The safety has picked up an offer from the Jayhawks.
Here are some clips. Kid has really ball skills and to be honest almost plays more like a corner than a safety. His game would transfer to the Big 12 well.
Rob Likens was out in California and I got word he was looking at a defensive tackle. I am still checking into that.
David Beaty and Kenny Perry were going into see DeAmarkus Acy and head coach Elzie Barnett. Coach Barnett told me Acy is a looking at visit weekend before the last weekend I believe Jan. 23. They are trying to firm that date up.
Yenser did a visit with commit Antione Frazier yesterday. I heard Mitchell is in Texas looking at running backs and I am trying to dig around find out who that might be.
Bowen was also out in California on Tuesday visiting DT Isi Holani who was now moved up his visit to this weekend. Holani is getting recruited by KU, KSU, Colorado State, and Utah State. It might come down to KU and KSU. Holani is close with Chris Maumalanga so that could be a big help if it is a close race.
UPDATE Dec. 2 @ 10:01 a.m.
Cameron Murray told me he is going to visit sometime in January but doesn't have a date set. Thibodeaux was at the school on Monday. He has really worked hard on him.
The worry here is Oklahoma State. Since they came in the picture they are a concern.
Keep an eye on Jeremy Faulk at Garden City CC. I know they want to land three T and likely two of them being junior college. They have Davis who can be a space eater and shows some athleticism. They are looking at JJ Holmes at Hutch also. Holmes is starting to blow up and may be a tough get.
The other one is Isi Holani a juco DT in California. Bowen is supposed to see him this week. They may move Holani up on the visit list. I think Holani might be the top target but it is hard to tell.
Reggie Mitchell was in New York to visit CB Mike Daniels. I don't know what the chances of this happening are....but if they could get Daniels and Stephan Robinson that would be a big boost to the secondary.
Zach Yenser visited OT commit Antione Frazier last night.
Also it seems like they are taking two to three in on the home visits together.
UPDATE Dec. 1 @ 6:37 p.m.
Good talk with Hunter Harris. His doctors said he is already ahead of schedule. They are saying he is one of the surgeries they have seen where he could be doing things faster than most. He started his rehab just five days in where it takes some much longer to walk and start it.
Will have some good comments from him later. Had good in home visit with Beaty, Yenser, and Perry last night. Man that kid is a Jayhawk through and through.
UPDATE Dec. 1 @ 9:29 a.m.
Kyle Mayberry article posted here
Late last night Virginia Tech offered Mayberry. He sent me a text this morning "there is nothing to worry about. Just proud of where I came from and the attention I am getting."
My guess is Fuente has ties to the Oklahoma area and he also retained James Shibest on his staff who has recruited Oklahoma.
UPDATE 7:39 p.m.- Nov 30
Marquis Smith is no longer a KU commit. Reggie Mitchell visited the school today. It is believed Smith will now open up his options. KU has been patient with Smith but with pending academics the Jayhawks are not in a position to wait.
With a limited amount of scholarships they have to make every one count.
UPDATE 7:10 p.m.- Nov. 30
The Kansas coaches threw the kitchen sink at Stephan Robinson today. He just got back from his official visit to Tennessee yesterday. Today he met with David Beaty, Clint Bowen, and Kenny Perry. So the Kansas coaches wasted no time getting him in front of the head coach.
"I was really excited to see all of the coaches," Robinson said of the KU coaches. "They all seem real cool. They talked about how I can come in and make an impact and be a leader."
Robinson liked how the Kansas coaches were there right away.
"It showed me a lot to have all of them here today," he said.
Robinson said he will take his visit to Kansas and will see how that goes before scheduling another one.

The first night the coaches can be out on the road the first stop was with Amani Bledsoe. A few comments will be added in a new post.
The coaches are travelling tonight and I expect them to make some stops starting tomorrow. I will updated what I get in this thread and also publish bigger updates and link.
