Off Topic Truck options

I've been driving the same truck for the past 12 years. Love this truck but with a baby on the way I realize I shouldn't be driving a single cab truck. Plus I'll be paying off me and my wife's student loans this summer so I'll have some extra $ laying around.
I've narrowed down my choices to a GMC Sierra or Dodge Ram and I'd appreciate all opinions.
