Well, dryoung's thoughts and predictions continue to be correct in Oklahoma 6A-1. I went to the Tulsa Union vs OKC Yukon game tonight. Union's defense is very real. Union's offense is definitely for real. Yukon may be the weakest 6A-1 team I have ever witnessed. They intercepted a pass deep in Union territory late in the third quarter while being down 50 something to 0, and were only able to get a FG against Union's 2nd team defense, when they were down to the Union 6 yard line at one point in the possession. If it were not for a "very few" positive plays, I truly believe Yukon would have been negative for positive yards on offense for the entire game. Union's only weakness is their kicker. He missed two XP's...one went about 20 yards wide left (maybe worst XP attempt I have ever seen), and one that actually went under the crossbar. I'm guessing here, but I don't believe Union will try any FG's this season. Final score Union 61, Yukon 3. The most likely 6A-1 State contender for Union for the state title is Bixby 80, over OKC South Moore 0. 80-0 is an ass whooping any way you want to describe it. BA was off tonite. As Ramblood has alluded to, his Owasso Rams are having an off year, and actually lost to an OKC team, Owasso 17 vs OKC Mustangs 27. Jenks beat OKC West Moore 28-22. It was the perfect night to sit outside and enjoy Friday night HS Football! Now, it's time for some great football of KU beating isu! RCJH!
