There was a lot of energy to start practice but that is expected for the first day.

During stretching Cozart was the only person selected to go out and lead the team in warm-up drills. I'm sure that will change which each day.

I watched the DL for a bit in drills. I thought the summer was good to Isi. He has dropped some weight and moved well. Will Smith was working the DL. They have enough big bodies to rotate.

Saw Keon Stowers at practice. He looks good. Trimmed down some he could still suit up.

The battle between Olobia and Mosby will be interesting to watch.

I want to preface this we got about 20 minutes. That includes stretching and a few drills. And there was some special teams.

I watched Moos and Thompson punt. It just seemed like overall Thompson got off better punts. He's a tall kid with some extension.

Beaty was very active in the QB drills. They worked a lot of zone read handoffs. Starks is taller than I thought he was going to be.

On the OL guys like Adeniji, Frazier, are going to need some time. But that's quite okay they have time and OL should get all the time to develop.

McCauley and Hughes look good. Both well over the 300 mark. And it isn't sloppy weight they put on fast.

I know people roll their eyes when they hear this but the team looks good. They look both bigger and trimmer.

Evans will definitely be the short yardage guy. He's built well and has some body especially when up next to Martin and Kinner.

Will have some photos and video later on.
