The right has always been very good at making boogeymen out of prominent or upcoming Ds. Their ability to use Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc. as cudgels to beat their flock into fearing for their lives is pretty well established at this point.
But the vitriol and risk coming from the attacks Fox and the right wing shitbirds are conveying on Omar and AOC is going to lead to one of them being assaulted or worse. We already have one person arrested for threatening to kill Omar, and now the NY Post is covering a BS mischaracterization of Omar's words looking to make it seem like she's covering for terrorists.
It's something everyone everywhere should condemn, but as we know ~40%ish of the US population will eat it up and Trump will pour gas on it until one of them is attacked, then they'll claim they had no hand in causing it.
