So, Beaty just finished the 4th full season as a coach hired by Zenger.
Zenger's own coaches have gone:
1-11
3-9
3-9
0-12
Over the next couple seasons we're not so much talking about Beaty's results putting Beaty on the hot seat as Beaty's results putting Zenger on the hot seat.
I'd say any AD who has hired 2 coaches in 4 years and is 7-41 would have to be seen as at least vulnerable.
Beaty might get 5 years. I doubt Zenger gets Beaty's full 5 years, though. Unless we're seeing amazing improvement soon.
The point is, will Zenger step in and demand changes at some point knowing it's his own neck on the block more than Beaty's?
