Some of the numbers for UT doesn't make a lot of sense. There really isn't much in the way of trends for them. They do tend to play better at home than on the road (which basically every team does) and Foreman does tend to do damage every game, but separating what they do in wins and losses there just really isn't much you can take away with what leads them to a win or not.

On one hand that is a little bit weird, but on the other hand it does make some sense. UT is a very young team. 5 of their 11 starters on offense and defense this past week were sophomores or younger. The majority of guys they rotate in at skill positions on offense are young guys and the majority of guys they rotate in on defense are young guys. When you are playing so many young guys (as we know all to well) consistency will lack from game-to-game.

I think it is absolutely critical our guys up front on both sides of the ball come out playing balls to the wall. You want that every game of course, but I think it is especially critical in this game. We have to smack them in the mouth first. With it being a colder than normal game for them, their HCs seat being very warm, and them just being young...we have to put some doubt in their heads early on. That is going to be easier said than done with the injuries we are dealing with and us being a young team as well, but if we can do this early, I think it is something that can really mentally impact UT.

Go out with guns blazing all day on senior day - that's the mentality we need this week
