was in position but broke to the middle of the field - where there was zero chance he’d be of any help- bc he thought the QB was going to throw to someone else.
Once the QB threw it, that ball was in the air for 10 and a half minutes. If Mello had stayed with his man, it’s an easy PBU, maybe a pick 6.
