I am so happy to hear the positive buzz coming from people I know close to the football program. The HC is creating positive momentum across all facets, recruiting, coaching, strength and conditioning, outreach to high schools, etc. etc.
There is so much that needs to be said about having continuity in this program. The HC and the staff have to be secure enough in their own skins, being in command of the entire enterprise, holding themselves as well as the players accountable for their effort and their conduct, in order to succeed. After two failed attempts at this, we seem to have the right man in charge. It is still early to be sure but it is hard not to get on board with what is going on at the football complex.
What needs to happen now is work ethic and belief translate into success on the field.
