Fellow Jayhawk Slanters,
we are officially less than 25 hours from a new era of KU football. I personally am incredibly excited to see what this new era brings us. We’ve been through a lot of awful times but I believe we finally have the guy to bring us some great memories and moments.
tomorrow (and the season) won’t be pretty. There will be great moments of promise and moments we all will think it’ll never work out for us. We all inowSo let’s all enjoy the ride.
Head coach Lance Leipold is different and there’s legitimate reason for hope. The last we hired a head coach who was on the rise was Glenn Mason (not including coordinators or Les). This guy knows what he’s doing. He’s a program builder with a staff to match. It’s going to take time but it will be worth it.
So if you’re like me and can hardly contain your excitement for the upcoming season and era raise a glass (virtually) and let’s cheers to what’s to come and the ride ahead.
