Everything we are going through is a first for all intents and purposes. The stadium build, the dedication to football, the expectation of a first ever back to back to back bowls.
All culminating into the worst disappointment I've personally experienced in my 40 plus years of fanhood.
It cuts deeeep.....because we could finally ( after decades, a lifetime?) believe.
I think we embrace the pain of it.....like birthing pain.
Success is almost never linear.
We will succeed. There's too much evidence of that to honestly believe otherwise.
We are emotional creatures....who are really pissed and/or checked out right now. But the best indicator of future performance is past performance. LL is still LL. Goff is still Goff. Three straight losses has a way of making us forget the good and how good we've got it. (See Valesente, Terry, Weis et al for deets)
We will get through this if we don't succumb to our emotions.
