In looking at the new roster:

We have no experience at corner. Ronnie Davis, Matthew Boateng, and Colin Spencer. That's it. All new faces otherwise.

We make up for it by having no experience or depth at safety. Tevin Shaw, Fish Smithson, and Greg Allen. With only three other guys even listed.

Linebacker issues are well documented. Hoping some guys step into roles this year, like Watson and Arnick.

i do feel pretty good about our defensive line, which is nice. We have some depth and some experience both at DT and DE. Especially if you consider Olobia a DE.

I am troubled to see we only have one placekicker and one punter on the roster. If nothing else than to protect against injury, I'd like that not to be the case in a few months.

Those receivers. Yikes. Need some guys to unexpectedly step up. Good looking tight end group- just thin on depth.

Cautious optimism about the future of the offensive line. i know there are some potential concerns there for this season, but i feel like there is some reason for optimism, too.

No idea what to think at running back or QB. Too many unknowns, too many variables. Could be some really good players there, could be a giant turd at either position.

Sorry for random thoughts on this- just hadn't done a deep dive on the roster recently. With defections, retirements, etc. it is a different look. Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. Need to keep hammering away at it.
