1. His stock is currently undervalued due to end of season injury. What have you done for me lately mentality (why Tyus Jones leaves), really hurts the perception on Perry right now. He was getting ready to explode on offense prior to his injury, then he gets hurt and everyone remembers the post-injury Perry. Why leave when your stock is down? He could very well have a first team All American type year next year if he carries the pre-injury offensive momentum into next year and be a first round pick.

2. His defense improved and could get even better. He needs to show the NBA he would have a position. He is too small to check a 4 in the NBA, but he has improved his defense and could continue that improvement to show he could play 3 in the NBA.

3. Continue to show he has a good jumper- next year would bring more 3-point shooting opportunities.

4. Perry is a good student, unlike many of these guys who never have a prayer at graduation, why not stay another year and get your diploma.

5. Look, it's not like staying around for a BMOC type of year at KU is a tough thing to do. College is the best years of most people lives - not to mention a star player at KU. If it is a close call at all, why not enjoy a great senior year.

6. Last but not least, take a shot at leaving a legacy at KU. Do you really want to leave with two 2nd round exits in a row. Next year could be a Final 4 type of year.
