If a program has hired a good coach you will very often see big improvement in year 2.

These things can progress rather quickly when you have the right guy. I see a lot of posters who I think are fair minded saying they think Beaty is the right guy.

In my mind, he HAS to be the right guy. It's Beaty. So, I gotta support him and just hope he's getting appropriate support from KU.
