TCU and the University of North Texas Health Science Center are entering into a joint venture. UNTHSC currently has a DO program. TCU is fully funding a MD program to operate collaboratively with the DO program, levering both UNTHSC and TCU resources, facilities, hospital networks, etc.
The TCU-UNTHSC medical school will open in 2018; plan is for 240 enrolled students by 2022.
