I watched a number of games this week and several targeting calls came when a QB went into the slide. QBs wait until the.last minute to slide and so many times the defensive player has started to make his move to tackle and the QB ducks into a slide at the last minute.
They should either remove the QB slide or if it is a QB slide, then they ought to look at intent of the tackler to hit the player in the head and not just if the hit involved the crown of the helmet.
