I get that people are going to do it and for some, I'm sure it gets old and they want to mouth back, but why do so many players in the NFL and college think it's okay to mouth and taunt when they are down big in a game and make one decent play?
I have seen this so many times this year whether it was a KU player doing it or other teams.
One good play doesn't make up for all of the other plays where you've had your @ss kicked or better yet, it's never better than scoreboard.
Getting a taunting penalty when your team is getting beaten by four touchdowns should automatically get that person enshrined in the Hall of Shame.
Why can't the player just let his play do the talking for him? Why do so many players seem to lack discipline when it comes to this? Is it because overall our society is so selfish and so that player puts himself above his team? When are some guys going to figure out that you can't get in another player's face and make comments without being penalized?
I'm interested to hear some thoughts about this.
