Not to be a total cheerleader, but there are some positional rooms that will have more young talent (defined below as: Sophs or younger) in 2021 than I can ever remember having. While there are definitely some positions where more help will be needed, you'll have the makings of quality talent and depth at so many spots that it begins to make sense to take "win-now" transfers again to help win immediately.

It is going to be a dogfight for playing time in the following rooms (with a few more players to be added):

DB: Agbaw, Mayberry, Prunty, Lewis, Bryant, Dotson, Burroughs, Wilson, Grays
LB: Parker, Brown, Berryhill, Person, Hishaw?, Simpson, Staley, Alexander
DE/5-Tech: Robinson, Harris, Taylor, Anokuwuru, Withers
TE/Big WR: Kardell, Huggins, Golightly, Brotherton
WR: Johnson, Pearson, Grimm, McBride, Arnold, Coleman, Robinson, Henry, Rector

Long and the short of it, is that I can't see us taking JUCO's or transfers at any of the positions above for some time which leaves the staff plenty of flexibility to add that program changing grad transfer QB, or a top-flight JUCO OT. We're clearly recruiting at a top 50 level and have been doing so without smoke and mirrors (JUCOs) and have been doing so for 2-consecutive years and I feel very good about how 2022 will pan out as well.
