Snyder was 1-3 his first four years against a similarly rebuilding KU, only win being a 16-12 flukey contest in year 3. Year 4 was an utterly dominating KU win that had left everyone on KU side feeling super positive going forward, and next two wins by Snyder against KU were by a combined 9 points. We all know how the next 21 years under him turned out (for what it is worth, Snyder was Lance's current age in 1998).
