I loved the thread a while back that there could be a big donor on board to make the stadium renovation happen and that we could hear something as early as this summer. I thought that was pretty exciting because if you look at the type of 4 & 5 star recruits that Beaty is getting to visit, we're going to be bumping heads with big time programs. What better way to get these guys on board than to be able to show them what's going to happen with the stadium? They can get in on the ground floor of building the program with Beaty and being the players that build KU Football into something. No doubt KU will get negatively recruited against, but if KU can show a comprehensive blue print in all phases of the football program, I won't be surprised if we get some of these guys to sign on the dotted line. We've never tried building the facility first. I really think if we can get the stadium done sooner rather than later, it will speed up Beaty's ability to turn the program around. I think it's a great way to build up excitement in the fanbase and on the recruiting trail.
