I don't know how many of you are paying attention to the ins and outs of this process, but it is a world class shitshow. Trump doesn't know what he wants, so he keeps waffling and giving GOP leadership nothing to work with. The GOP is trying to cobble together enough internal support to get a bill passed without the Ds, yet are struggling with far right acceptance. The Ds are pushing hard for DACA, something few on the right will support, but don't seem to have a plan B if a shutdown isn't averted and the GOP can't pass a bill - hoping they aren't politically blamed.
