How about the headlines in the Post and NY Times celebrating the “religious scholar” in his death.

and limousine liberals fall further and further out of touch with regular Americans...it’s just so outrageous it’s hard to fathom.

Also, look at you scurrying around to make this political. A brutal savage gets what he deserved last night - a victory for the free world - and you just can’t wait to jump online and attack liberals. You’re one sad fock.

The biggest "left vs right" regarding this has been that while Trump and team did a good job of working with Russia, Turkey, and Iraq he nor his team consulted with Pelosi et al. While channel surfing this came up numerous times. That is not how a secret is kept.

I always wonder about guys like you. Unable to articulate a coherent argument and all of that frustration comes out in a sophomoric personal insult. I actually feel sorry for you man. Hang in there!

No, I just called you out for being a chickenshit partisan hack who can’t even celebrate a big W without attacking the left. Your a focking loser dude.

That aside, I completely disagree with the WaPo obit writers original positioning. 100%

Glad he’s dead. Hilarious that trump couldn’t accept the W and has since shot his dick off with his presser and subsequent staged situation room photo.

I’m a loser? What’s you’re problem? Seriously, what kind of insecurities do you have that would lead you to even say something so ridiculous to someone you don’t know?

as it relates to my post, I was pointing out the mistake it was for the Post and Times to politicize their coverage.

quit being a DB. I’m embarrassed for you.

Your first instinct was to take the opportunity to lump all “liberals” into the same bucket as one obit writer at WaPo, instead of celebrating a monster getting what he deserves. If politics drives you that much, then yes, you’re a loser.

That photo was the PR equivalent of fumbling the ball after blocking a FG and giving the other team a second shot at it.

It was a hell of lot better than the fiasco in the desert trying to free those oil field workers. Then Ross Perot sent in his mercs. Regardless of political sides, the negotiations, planning, and execution is something we all should be taking pride in, while leaving the politcs out of it. There are times to "give the devil his due" and this is one of them. The hatred for the the President and his advocates seen on this board is getting boring. Hating and criticizing posters who watch conservative news and/or commentary is really inane at best.

You couldn't define 'limousine liberal' to save your life. Stop misusing that term, it's insulting to people who know what that is.

Apparently Trump told Russia about this operation going down but couldn't be bothered to tell Congress.

He was also out on the golf course when it happened and had to stage a situation room photo.

The mission was almost compromised because he abruptly pulled the troops out, they already had the intel and were planning this before.

He was so critical of Obama taking down bin Laden, upset that is happened really, now he's marginalizing it again saying it was just a guy who blew up a couple buildings but this takedown is so much better and is actually a big deal unlike bin Laden.

And lastly, the real leader of ISIS is alive and well in Riyadh. His name is Mohamed bin Salman

I have no problem notifying Russia beforehand. For all we know, this was required from a military/strategic perspective. We know Russia has air assets (planes and helicopters) as well as air defense (missile) systems in Syria. We were sending aircraft into an area of Syria where we had no existing operations so it was certainly going to draw attention. Had to avoid being fired upon by Russian, Syrian, or Turkish forces. As long as we did not divulge anything to them beyond the area of operation, I understand notifying them.

In regards to not notifying Dem leaders in Congress, that was likely done out of spite - nothing more. Usually the gang of 8 is alerted to operations like this, but we've seen both sides throw normal conventions/protocols out the window in recent years. Trump can say he was worried about leaks, but that's nonsense. There's no way in hell Congressional leaders would jeopardize such a highly top secret mission critical to our national security.

On one hand it would have been easy to tell Congress but in this time of sabatage Trump almost at all costs it seemed like a wise decision. On the other hand it took courage to to go it alone and end up being the goat if anything at all went wrong. I think everyone should cool their jets over this and bathe in the fact that our assets pulled a real coup, worked well with other countries. Of course while I am not a big Pelosi or Schumer fan I think they could hold the secret. But not any others on the left. I feel the same about only the top two on the right. All the staffs are too big and blab too much.

My question to those who oppose Trump is how comfortable would you be going on a mission like that if you knew 16 politicians knew about it? Keep in mind the timing had to be impeccible with any discussion or debate interferring with the crucial timing and dealing with other countries. Our President created the realtionships and gave his planners and implementers the tool needed at the specific time. Face it-this Pres wouldn't have dicked around over Benghazi.

That interview clip says nothing about a leak coming from the Gang of Eight. Congressional leaders at that level were notified in advance of the mission to kill Bin Laden and nothing was leaked. I think the same would have held true for this mission but it's not huge deal to me.

Quite simply, Trump will report to Daddy Putin to get the approval and avoids multiple entities within the US government.

I am genuinely impressed with your ability to compassionately troll the left. It's like watching an NBA HOF player against those Downs Syndrome BB managers that get put in for token feel good baskets. You're to be praised for not dunking on the guy.

one of the things I've read, however, is that this was a special operations mission, and by notifying Russia first you give them the opportunity to monitor what is going on, clue up intelligence, etc. so they likely learned a fair bit about how we operate. If we go after an asset that Russia favors, they now have a better idea on how the mission will unfold and can potentially counter it.

Think of it this way, if Russia or China called us and said, "hey, FYI, we're going to do this highly classified and secretive act at roughly this time and this location with our best trained special ops" you know every one of our available assets would be turned to monitoring exactly how it goes down.

Oh, did Obama run our attack on Osama by Iran, like Trump did with Russia?
