That was the coolest flyover that I can remember - I was pumped after that!
To start the season, the WR group was one of the more surprising groups in a good way...but has been one of the more disappointing to end the season. That fumble on the first drive completely knocked the sail out of our winds. The number of drops increased. This has to be a priority going into next season - get these drops fixed.
Derrick Neal may have been the only bright spot for me this game. I am not going to say he is going to be as good as JaCorey Shepherd but he is looking at a similar path to him. I think he "earned" the right to start next week. I love the potential of this kid and think he can work his way into being a starter next year...
I am still a little bit confused on why we burned the redshirts of some kids. If you are down by 42 at half, guys like Taylor Martin and Emmanuel Moore should be getting more snaps than the last series. Guys like Ogbebor or Duckworth should be playing more snaps at LB. Didn't Feaster burn his RS? If so, why isn't he getting playing time?
With around 12 minutes left in the 4th quarter during a break I counted how many people were left in the stands in sections 10 through 17 (not counting band members) and counted 229...
