If you have some time could you be so kind to check in with Eric Davis and see if he's still firmly committed to Texas or not. Kansas had an offer out to him once upon a time and I don't know if you look around now that Barnes is out at Texas.
He would be a solid consolation prize if we strike out on Newman.
