After taking some time to sit back and analyze our situation with KU football, I truly feel like we are in USC or Penn St situation but we did it to ourselves. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that we have 3-4 years to get our scholarships right. And to make that worse our talent left on the field is truly lacking to be nice. At least USC and Penn St had talent to get them through the imposed penalty years. Now don't get me wrong I honestly think if given the time Beaty can turn this around but he is going to need TIME. Anyone hoping for big things in the next 2 years beside steady improvement are dreaming. I hope I'm wrong but I cant see it. And if Beaty does it with what he inherited then he needs to leave for Alabama. I'm not even going to go down it's the past coaches path because we have beat that path to death, but this is a dire situation we are in. I am going to give all my support to Beaty and the staff BUT I am going to be very patient this next 3 years.
