There is belief among the coaches who are hearing things that a couple late additions to the interview list were put on for Thursday. One name that is being mentioned among coaches is Tom Manning the OC at Iowa State. Follow the link to the updated Hot Board I have added his name.
I talked to a couple coaches who know that say he will be a head coach down the road and is well thought of coaches in the industry.
I have to believe that by tonight or Friday the coaches who will advance to the second round of the interview will be notified. From there, that's where the biggest questions will remain.
How many will there be? And will the second round be done via zoom or something in person?

UPDATE: 3:54 p.m.- Hearing Skip Holtz was hoping to be involved in the process and feels he is ready for a Power Five job. No confirmation whether he is in the mix.

Okay from everything I can gather from what coaches in the industry are saying they believe the first round of interviews could wrap up as soon as early this evening.
It is believed the interviews started on Monday late morning and they have scattered them out over three days.
The Hot Board has been updated where I think things stand coming out of the last three days and what people in the industry are thinking.
Last night I had two people tell me they heard Skip Holtz was going to interview on Wednesday. I reached out to someone that knows him and the person couldn't confirm it. Instead of posting his name on the front site or on social media I'm just mentioning it here. A sitting head coach that may not actually be in it doesn't need that attention.
Speaking of sitting head coaches I heard today that many of the head coaches in the mix have notified their ADs they are interviewing. A lot of the updated contracts a head coach must notify his AD when doing any official interview.
Much like the AD search there has been nothing leaking from the KU side. I believe Travis Goff has a very small group of people he is working with as a sounding board. I have asked and it is not an "official" committee that KU will release publicly.
I think the process has reached the point where Goff will work the small group, the search firm, and advance to the next stage. I'm assuming in the next hours 24 candidates are told where they stand and they get the group who will advance to an in-person interview.
I have heard from two sources that Jay Norvell was contacted but declined to interview for the job.
I will update this thread later. I was hoping to have more concrete evidence the first round has concluded but I don't think I can say that quite yet. But there is a very good chance it is over today.
